TWALKITOUT: Samsung is planning to show several Ultra HD (4K) TV screens, as well as high-resolution screens for smartphones, tablets and laptops, at the technology trade show. LG Display’s presence at CES 2013 will be measured in PPI (pixels per inch).
The TV went on sale a few weeks ago in the United States with a eye-popping $20,000 price tag with the features to boast:
- Ultra HD 4K Resolution (3840 x 2160p)
- LG Cinema 3D
- LG Smart TV
- LED Plus w/Local Dimming
Ultra HD picture is four times sharper than normal HD and double that of latest Hollywood films shown in cinema.10 powerful speakers provide cinema-quality surround sound.Five pairs of 3D glasses are provided for family to watch.LG will also show off a 5.5-inch, 1080p smartphone screen, a 7-inch, 1920 x 1200 pixel tablet screen and a 12.9-inch, 2560 x 1700 pixel screen for laptops.
