Facebook is careful enough to smother a user’s privacy settings and make available only the content made public by the user!
Twitter and Instagram move closer to the bond of threaded conversations on the three networks and provide a cumulative approach to follow a particular issue via keyword turned into hashtags!
Hashtags as represented by the traditional # symbol — to see a stream of images, posts, and links all tagged with a given phrase.
What made Facebook take this step? Facebook tends to eliminate anything that makes it feel the “Facebook ain’t got this” fever. Facebook for the past 3 years has been innovating, making acquisitions and experimenting to stay at the top of social networking and make users feel the availability of all the cool stuff, either via features, or supportive app development.
Hashtags on Facebook could prove delight to social media marketers to focus their advertisement using hashtags as keywords and stream the advertisements along.
We are yet to witness how the Hashtags on Facebook, introduced only to a limited users and ready to be integrated all over make a difference to the social network. Who knows hashtags take a complete different picture here.
