TWALKITOUT: Airlines companies in India seem to be following a trend to open up for mass recruitment this year. The credit may go to the increased number of commuters or the incoming of international players following FDI. It’s not comfirmed yet, but Airlines may hire 5000 freshers this year. You can even check out Job openings by airlines like Jet Airways and Indigo on leading job portal websites in India. Consultancies have suddenly boosted up their mailers for job openings in airlines. Spicejet job openings for technical staff has seen a growth in recent past as well.

AirAsia, before its proposed launch is conducting interviews and roadshows in different parts of the country to get ground staff and cabin crew on board.
Year 2012 was full of hiccups for the aviation industry with Kingfisher’s downfall and slow growth in the number of commuters due to agent’s monopoly in selling the tickets. 2013 came up with discounts and offers with airlines selling ticket at discounted prices as low as Rs. 2013.
Reports have indicated a growth of 5% month on month. Indigo, that rules the low cost aviation sector in India and AirAsia, the new entrant make it possible that airlines may hire 5000 freshers this year.
